The debates about what works in native advertising are almost as heated as those about its ethics, but if you’re going to pick a word that sums up what native advertising is trying to tap into, “authenticity” is as good as most.

That was the key area chosen by the head of Huffington Post’s native ad unit partner studios, Tessa Gould, at the Digiday European Publishing Summit in Barcelona this week:
