Pam Horan has been named president by the Online Publishers Association, the group announced.
Horan, who previously served as vice president for marketing and membership at the Web organization had also been serving as interim president.
“For nearly two years Pam has been a vital part of the OPA, leading our marketing efforts and serving as interim president,” said Debora Wilson, chairman of the OPA and president of The Weather Channel, Inc. in a statement. “It became increasingly clear during our search for a president that Pam was exactly the right person to direct the OPA going forward.”
