LONG BEACH, CA, December 12, 2012 – The Peoria Journal Star has entered into a distribution agreement with American Circulation Innovations, ACI, to provide home delivery and other distribution services, announced this week by Ken Mauser, publisher of the Peoria Journal Star.
Under the terms of this agreement, ACI will provide subscriber seven-day home delivery, community-newspaper distribution, TMC delivery and other distribution-related services for several GateHouse Media properties in the region, including the Peoria Journal Star, Galesburg Register-Mail, Pekin Daily Times and Kewanee Daily Courier.
“Our relationship with ACI will provide the opportunity to deliver our products to the market, taking advantage of ACI’s expertise and resources in distribution services while allowing us to focus on our core competencies as a local media company,” said Mauser. “The change will be seamless to readers and advertisers; customers will continue to interact with the newspapers’ customer-service channels for subscriptions and other needs.”
