After 20 years of providing Gonzales County with consistent coverage and good reading, a stalwart of information is throwing in the towel and picking up the trowel.
On Thursday, Feb. 14, the Cow Country Courier printed its last issue.
Wendle Scott, the newspaper’s publisher, recently decided to close up shop for good. At 83, Wendle, who says he has enjoyed being at the publication’s helm since its inception in May 1993, believes its time to move on.
