Few Cincinnatians knew his name, but for more than three decades news in the Tristate was richer and more complete because of Ron Liebau.
The University of Cincinnati graduate shaped political coverage at the Cincinnati Enquirer for more than a decade as its government and politics editor before helping to lead the paper into the digital age. Liebau also was assignment manager at WKRC and a reporter and editor at the Cincinnati Post.
Liebau, of Delhi Township, died Monday. He was 59.
