Former Muskogee Phoenix Photographer Dies at 57

Former Muskogee Phoenix photographer Kent Johnson, 57, died while on assignment for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, according to newspaper sources.

Sandra Brown, senior editor visuals for the Journal Constitution, said Johnson had been at the newspaper about 20 years and was well loved and respected. Authorities told the newspaper he arrived on the scene of an assignment Saturday but never got out of the vehicle.
