El Paso Times Journalists Reflect on Walmart Mass Shooting and Anniversary Coverage

On Aug. 3, 2019, an alleged white supremacist shot and killed people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. Twenty-three people died and many were injured in what was described as the deadliest attack on Latinos in modern U.S. history.

At the forefront of coverage were the journalists of the El Paso Times, part of the USA Today Network, who worked tirelessly to cover the shooting and aftermath.
