The San Antonio Express-News has a new publisher—a veteran media executive with a strong background in developing digital audiences.

Mark Medici joined Hearst, the paper’s parent company, in 2018 and has served as president of the Houston Chronicle and as chief marketing officer for Hearst Newspapers.
