The Lincoln Star Journal announced that 11 of its employees — each with 15 years of continuous service — have accepted a buyout offer from the newspaper’s owner, Lee Enterprises. The Journal said that of the 11 employees, seven were newsroom employees, two worked in advertising, one in circulation and one in image services. Currently, the newspapers circulation is 76,374 daily and 83,674 Sunday. The Journal Star is a division of Lee Enterprises with approximately 450 employees.
