2010 Midterm Elections Biggest Story In Two Years, Pew Says

The recent midterm election, which turned control of the U.S. House of Representatives over to the Republicans and severely impacted the Obama administration, filled up 57 percent of the news coverage from Nov. 1-7 becoming the fourth-biggest story since January 2007 when Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism began its News Coverage Index. President Obama also became the top newsmaker.
