Audit Bureau of Circulation’s ABCi interactive auditing service is launching a standalone report for mobile content publishers. The “mAudit Report” can be used to provide advertisers with detailed mobile usage statistics, ABC said.
Among the metrics are mobile audience by device type; mobile audience by day and day part; audience access points, such as app, mobile browser or e-reader; unique visitors; and page views.
ABCi has posted a prototype mAudit Report here.
Following is ABCs verbatim detailed explanation of the report’s paragraphs:
Paragraph 1 features the average number of page views, visits and unique cookies generated by mobile devices for a one-month period. Publishers report the data by a weekday average, weekend average or breakout each day of the week.
Paragraph 2 focus on app downloads and text alerts. In 2A, publishers can report the number of paid app downloads for a specific time period. In 2B, publishers can report what types of devices are using the apps (smartphones vs. e-readers) and Paragraph 2C highlights the number of text alerts sent to subscribers that were successfully delivered.
Paragraph 3 data shows graphs and charts of mobile activity by the day of the week, then by the time of day and finally for each day in the one-month audit period.
In Paragraph 4, publishers can show advertisers the devices or platforms that are generating the mobile usage statistics.
Finally, Paragraph 5 displays the most requested or visited pages of a mobile site by mobile devices.
