Ad-blocking software is now being used by nearly 10% of desktop Internet users in the U.S., according to a report from comScore.

The data referenced in the report, released Wednesday, was collected in December from comScore’s panel of around 1 million U.S. desktop users. It indicates a slightly lower rate of adoption and escalation in the use of ad blocking than data from some other companies that have made headlines in recent months.
