Carolyn Hax’s advice column will go seven days a week starting Oct. 1, according to the Washington Post Writers Group.
Hax entered syndication in 1998 writing one column a week, moved to twice a week in 1999, and then to three times a week in 2002. Now, she’s doing three original columns a week and creating four more by adapting content from her popular live chats on WashingtonPost.com.
The columns are edited and illustrated by Hax’s ex-husband, Nick Galifianakis, who worked as an editorial cartoonist and illustrator for USA Today before launching his freelance career in 1996.
Hax, a Harvard graduate and married mother of three, has worked at The Washington Post since 1992.
