Outsourcing company Affinity Express announced that Kenneth Swanson has been named CEO. Swanson was most recently the director of business development for Kodak Graphic Communications Group. In his position there he introduced Microzone Publishing Solution for newspapers.
“We are delighted that we have been able to recruit Ken to lead Affinity Express, as he brings with him deep domain expertise in the graphics and prepress industries, and extensive background in outsourcing and offshoring,” Affinity Chairman Alfredo Ayala said in a statement.
Swanson was also senior vice president of global operations and manufacturing at Bowne & Co., a financial printing company. Prior to that he held sales and management positions at L.P. Thebault Co. and Anderson Lithograph.
Based in Elgin, Ill., Affinity Express handles the ad production work for more than 140 newspaper publications with operations in Pune, India and Manila, Philippines.
