Albuquerque Carrier Finds Murder Victim

A suspect was arrested in Albuquerque on Sept. 2 in the death of a woman who had been beaten and stabbed.

A newspaper carrier found the 19-year-old victim on a sidewalk at about 4:30 AM.

Police followed bloody footprints to a nearby home, where they executed a search warrant later in the day, according to a report by Albuquerque’s KRQE-TV. Described as the woman’s ex-boyfriend, the suspect was arrested for murder and tampering with evidence. He was held on $1 million bond.
