AlfaQuest Takes Orders for 21 More CTP Systems

Orders for 21 FasTrak computer-to-plate systems were recently recorded by alfaQuest Technologies, Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Pairs of FasTrak V/150 violet platesetters with Trakmate autoloaders will go into the Frederick (Md.) News-Post, The Chronicle, Centralia, Wash., The Exponent Telegram, Clarksburg, W.Va., Chronicle-Telegram, Elyria, Ohio, and Eagle Web Press, Salem, Ore.

Houston Community Newspapers, Pasadena, Texas, The Hawk Eye, Burlington, Iowa, and Victoria (Texas) Advocate each bought one FastTrak V/150 with Trakmate autoloading. Burlington and Victoria also will use PageImposer workflow software.

Osprey Media Group, Markham, Ontario, purchased three FasTrak violet imagers and Trakmate autoloaders for the Welland Tribune, Kingston Whig and Sarnia Observer. Western Newspapers, Yuma, Ariz., also ordered three violet FasTraks for its Prescott Valley and Golden Valley plants.

The Tulsa (Okla.) World ordered two FasTrak V/180s, two Trakmates and CIP3 ink resetting to complement its alfaQuest PrintExpress Consolidated Production Management System.
