The free daily tabloid amNewYork reported an increase of 2.6% in daily circulation to 323,000 copies for the six months ending March 31, 2009.
The data is from Certified Audit of Circulations.
“Our product perfectly fits the needs of the busy, affluent, active and young professionals who traditionally do not read newspapers and live, work and play in New York City,” amNewYork Publisher Terry Jimenez said in a statement.
The daily, published Monday through Friday, is part of the Newsday group, which is owned by Cablevision Systems.
