WashingtonPost.com’s recently launched Opinions section has invited political pundit Andrew Sullivan to be the site’s “Guest Blogger.”
Under the new arrangement, the leading blog posts on Sullivan’s personal blog, www.AndrewSullivan.com, will appear at WashingtonPost.com from Sept. 20 – Sept. 23.
“The web is about experimenting; and it’s long overdue that the independent blogosphere and the mainstream media find better ways of communicating,” Sullivan said in a statement. “We all win, I think. And more opinions and facts can reach online readers.”
In a statement, Jim Brady, executive editor of WashingtonPost.com, said ?The ‘Guest Blogger’ feature is one of several initiatives by the site to increase interactivity with users and help facilitate the ‘national conversation’ around news and issues that the Web has made possible.”
