1920s

The City and County of Denver seal is in the center of this badge issued by the city to an Associated Press reporter of the 1920s. It appears as though the badge-maker couldn’t quite figure out how to abbreviate “Associated Press,” but did the best he could. The badge is two-and-one- quarter inches long and is made of nickeled brass. Its custom-die seal is made of copper.
