Cartoonist David Kish is joining with columnist Ray Hanania to do a cartoon called “Line in the Sand” for the Arab Writers Group Syndicate.

The feature will lampoon the Middle East, American politics, Arab Americans, Arab-Israeli relations, and “everything that deserves to be shish-kebab-ed!,” Hanania told E&P.

Kish, an Association of American Editorial Cartoonists member, is known for his “Hoopleville” comic that runs in alternative newsweeklies. His work has also been exhibited in fine-art galleries.

The Lehigh University alumnus holds degrees in economics and architecture.

“Line in the Sand” can be seen here.
