E-mail Updates, Earlier Delivery Among Features
Dow Jones & Co. says an improved Asian Wall Street Journal was delivered to subscribers this
week. One of the first enhancements was an earlier delivery for most readers, the company says.
The paper will be printed up to three hours earlier.
The newspaper is also being more tightly integrated with WSJ.com, via supplemental e-mail
updates with late news from the U.S. For a limited time, Asian Journal subscribers will also
receive free subscriptions to WSJ.com.
These enhancements follow the hiring of five new technology reporters, bringing the total to nine
in Asia. The paper launched Technology Journal, a monthly section, in January.
A new design uses more color, and navigation aids.
Japanese readers will have a special section with news devoted to their country, with some content
printed in Japanese.
