Reading, U.K.-based Atex has announced a new partnership with Siftology, the Palo Alto, Calif., developer of knowledge-management- and Web-content-based methods for relating and repurposing content.
Atex is incorporating Siftology’s SiftWire and SiftNugget into its editorial solutions. Working in real-time, SiftWire automatically organizes and analyses the flow of incoming wire stories, places them into user-specified “topics,” and presents them as a continually updated visual map of the day’s priorities and events.
SiftNugget is a text analysis, archiving, and search solution with an intuitive interface for fast archive searches of articles related to a user’s stories. Users can build a knowledge repository and continue to archive.
Siftology provides multimedia content-management products that use Java-based text processing and visualization technology to automatically select, summarize, and associate unstructured multimedia information and provide integration into production workflows for print, Web, and television applications.
