The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has made two staff additions to its circulation department.
Steve Edwards has been named to the newly created position of director of retail sales & partnerships. Edwards comes to the AJC from The Arizona Republic in Phoenix, where his most recent title was manager/single copy. He has held several key management positions since 1985.
Manuel Collazo has been named circulation sales manager. He will be responsible for telemarketing and all other outside subscription sales acquisition activity. Collazo joins the AJC from Cox Ohio Publishing, where he served as manager of circulation marketing and NIE.
“Steve and Manuel bring a wealth of circulation experience to our newspaper. They are strong leaders with tremendous drive and energy,” Bob Eickhoff, the AJC’s vice president of circulation, said in a statement.
