WEST Australian Newspapers posted its first quarter results, and credits increased advertising for its 2.6 percent revenue increase.
Writing for Dow Jones Newswires, Cynthia Koons reports:
“Net revenue rose 3.1 per cent to $102.4m. Net consolidated circulation revenue was down 2.1 per cent to $19m in the quarter.
The media company posted a net profit of $23.5m for the three months to September 30, up from $22.9m in the previous corresponding period.”
