Baltimore Metromix Launches with New Look

Baltimore’s Metromix entertainment Web site relaunched today with a new design and search capabilities.

The site, originally started in 2005, targets 18-to-34-year-olds and covers local bars, restaurants, clubs, and bands.

The redesign includes interactive maps and calendars.

“What we’ve created is a one-stop spot young Baltimoreans can visit to plan their free time,” Amanda Krotki, Metromix’s senior producer, said in a statement.

The Metromix Web sites started ten years ago in Chicago. The Tribune Co. rolled out the concept to their properties in New York, Los Angeles, and South Florida.
