The Sun, in Baltimore, signed a contract for a complete advertising solution from CCI Europe consisting of CCI AdDesk Sales and CCI AdDesk Production.
The move brings the Sun’s ad system in line with Tribune Publishing’s aim of establishing a common technological infrastructure and common business processes across all its daily newspapers.
Angelina Francisco, the Sun’s AdDesk Sales project manager, said in statement that AdDesk Sales “helps to create a proactive selling environment, via the use of e-mail solicitation and up-selling.” Beyond booking, AdDesk Sales was developed to support one order for many ads in multiple media with one invoice, fewer errors, greater efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction, according to Francisco.
Designed for full control over the production process, AdDesk Production’s open architecture allows seamless integration with other CCI Europe and third-party systems.
According to CCI, it also will offer reliable ad tracking, stronger reporting, and centralized storage of ad material, giving the Sun more control over the entire ad production process.
