(AP) The Beaver (Pa.) County Times is no longer printing on its own presses.

Times Publisher Alan Buncher says the press used since 1964 is obsolete. Buncher says the company initially planned to buy a new press, but concluded that the roughly $30 million it would cost was too much.

So the company worked out a deal with West Penn Printing in New Castle, which already prints two daily newspapers, the New Castle News and The Herald of Sharon.

Sunday’s issue was the last issue of the Times to be printed on the old press.
