Bill Reynolds Named SVP/Circ at Denver Newspaper Agency

Bill Reynolds has been named senior vice president/circulation for the Denver Newspaper Agency publisher of The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News. He replaces Judd Alvord.

In his new role, Reynolds will oversee the delivery operations of both newspapers, currently under a joint operating agreement.

Harry Whipple, president and CEO of the agency, said in a statement Reynolds is ?the right leader to guide our efforts to expand our total audience.?

Reynolds also worked for the New York Daily News and Newsday before coming to Denver in 1994.

Alvord, 51, is leaving the company to pursue consulting opportunities in the industry. Whipple said Alvord is ?one of the most respected circulation executives in the country,? who helped the agency address specific delivery techniques, customer service infrastructure, and the expansion of national publication delivery (the agency handles all Colorado delivery for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today).
