Bluefin Technology Cracks Asia Market

Perfisio Solutions, the online division of Malaysian publisher Utusan Melayu, chose Bluefin Technology Partners LLC, Andover, Mass., to power EZTrade Marketplace, a new national Web portal bringing buyers and seller together.

It is Bluefin’s first live site in Asia, where Medialive Asia is its exclusive representative.

Visitors can now place attractive online listings and search ads by specific regions or in the entire country. The site’s up-sell options include photo and video uploads, prominent ad placement, sponsored keyword search, RSS feeds, and new advertiser storefronts. Other features are automatic e-mail renewal reminders, confidential communication between buyer and seller, and publishing online display ads.

“With Bluefin, we have an online marketplace solution that deploys rapidly, scales nationally, and gives our advertisers and consumers a great user experience,” Perfisio Solutions Chief Operating Officer Fareed Abdul Ghani said in a statement.

Bluefin founder and General Partner for Techology Rich Grover, credited Perfisio Solutions with helping “extend the platform with new functionally that further enhances our marketplace offerings.”

Bluefin Place Ad, allows advertisers working online to place ads into the multiple print titles and related Web sites. Advertisers can manage their ads with the ability to edit, cancel, or renew ads online for the designated publishing schedule. BluefinCMP (Community Marketplace Platform) incorporates all features in one platform for creating an eCommerce portal for local sellers and buyers. The 5-year-old company’s clients publish more than 100 newspapers and related Web sites in Canada, the United States and United Kingdom.
