The Chicago Tribune has promoted Bob Fleck as vice president of advertising. He was previously advertising director for city retail, entertainment, and automotive categories.
Fleck started with the Chicago Tribune in 1992 as a senior account executive eventually becoming division manager. He also served as director group sales and marketing in the circulation department.
“Bob’s leadership, knowledge of client needs and ability to create innovative solutions make him the best person to lead the advertising department in this challenging time,” Tony Hunter, president and publisher of the paper, said in a statement.
