Aaron McGruder, who ended “The Boondocks” comic last year to concentrate on “The Boondocks” TV show and other projects, will speak tomorrow at Pittsburgh’s Byham Theater.

“An Evening With Aaron McGruder” is sponsored by the August Wilson Center for African American Culture (named after the renowned playwright). Tickets range from $20 to $64.

The former Universal Press Syndicate cartoonist’s Saturday appearance was mentioned in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which noted that McGruder “drew his share of ‘Feedback’ letters in the PG for his controversial strip.” DailyCartoonist.com linked today to the Post-Gazette listing.
