Malaysia’s Borneo Post officially opened its new plant on in Lahad Datu Sept. 25, with the expectation that readers on the island’s east coast will be able to see the newspaper earlier.

The Post’s Website reported that KTS Group Chairman Datuk Henry Lau Lee Kong expected the plant to be fully operational in October, when it will print the Post and its sister dailies Utusan Borneo and See Hua Daily News.

Lau said the decision to build the plant reflects the company’s commitment to improve the printing quality of the three newspapers and deliver them to their readers earlier.
