Boston.com’s comprehensive listing of homes for sale in and beyond Greater Boston is now available to browse using a just-released free iPhone app.
The new app enables on-the-go buyers to view property details and photos, share favorite homes with family and friends, and more.
Features include: complete listings from across New England, with photos and floor plans; property searches by municipality or using built-in GPS to find nearby homes for sale or rent and open houses; viewing by list or map; saving listings and creating e-mail alerts for favorite searches; uploading and storing property photos and notes; narrowing searches (property type, square footage, price, listing date, etc.); agent contact by e-mail or phone; local real estate market news from The Boston Globe and Boston.com, both owned by The New York Times Co.
The new app not only “makes the process of finding a new home even more convenient,” Boston.com General Manager Lisa DeSisto said in announcing its availability, but “also extends the effectiveness of listings on Boston.com for local Realtors.”
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (iOS 4.0 or later), the free Boston.com Real Estate iPhone app may be downloaded from the Apple iTunes store.
