BOSTON GLOBE, WBZ-TV 4 EXPAND COLLABORATION

Headlines, Co-sponsored Show To Appear On TV



The Boston Globe and WBZ-TV 4 yesterday announced a collaborative effort
that includes Globe headlines on the 11 p.m. news and a new co-sponsored
half-hour weekly show called ‘News Conference.’



The Globe’s headlines service began airing yesterday. The News Conference
show, scheduled to debut Feb. 27, will feature reporters from both outlets
as they examine major news stories and feature interviews with local
newsmakers.


The broadcaster and newspaper have collaborated in the past on conducting
local polls and sponsoring political debates during election years.


The Globe is a subsidiary of The New York Times Co. and WBZ-TV 4 is owned
and operated by CBS Corp.
