‘Boston Herald’ Names Five Editors to New Positions

The Boston Herald has shaken up its newsroom this week, naming five editors to new positions.

Hank Hryniewicz has been named sports editor. He most recently was deputy sports editor.

Business reporter John Strahinich is now the Herald’s new Sunday editor. Strahinich formerly served as an executive editor at Boston magazine and was founding editor of the former Boston Business Forward.

Eric Convey has been appointed senior executive city editor. He most recently was financial editor. Convey has served the Herald as a business reporter, religion writer, general assignment reporter, and an editorial writer during the past nine years.

Assistant Financial Editor Greg Gatlin, who most recently was the Herald’s media beat writer, has been named financial editor.

Jen Miller has been named executive city editor. She is promoted from copy editor.
