Bricker Named VP at ‘Houston Chronicle’

Donald Bricker has been named vice president of information systems and technology of the Houston Chronicle.

Bricker, who most recently served as director of information technology at the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram, will work to integrate the Chronicle’s technology with its parent company, Hearst Corp.

“We are delighted that Don is joining an already outstanding team of professionals in the Chronicle’s IT area,” Bob Carlquist, the Chronicle’s executive vice president and general manager, said in a statement. “He will work to ensure that we have the best and most effective systems in place so that we can better serve our customers and achieve our business goals.”
