The Herald-Review (Minn.) has announced that Britta Arendt would assume the role of editor. Arendt will be replacing Beth Bily, a former Herald-Review staff writer who served as editor of the paper for four years.
Arendt originally worked at the Herald-Review as an intern following her graduation from high school. In 1998, she interned for U.S. Art, a nationally circulated publication of MSN Communications. Following her work at The Bookmen, Inc., which coordinates catalogues of recently published books to library networks and school districts, Arendt returned to the Herald-Review as a staff writer in 2002.
Arendt?s appointment as editor will become effective on July 14.
