Australian newspaper publisher Ross Dunkley has been fined and freed by a Burmese court.

Mr Dunkley, the publisher of the Phnom Penh Post and Myanmar Times, was fined 100,000 kyat ($112) for immigration offences.

He was also sentenced to one month in jail for forcing a person to take drugs.
