The D.C.-based C-SPAN is clearly in a New York state of mind.

C-SPAN2’s Book TV goes “Inside the New York Times Book Review” on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET, with a guided tour, interviews with several staffers and a look at how the October 29 issue came together.

Meanwhile, Chairman/CEO and on-air host Brian Lamb is in New York this week taping interviews for his Sunday night “Q & A” program. He is taping hour-long each interviews with Andrew Rosenthal, soon to become editor of the editorial page of The New York Times, Steven Levy of Newsweek, and Gordon Crovitz, publisher of the Wall Street Journal. The Rosenthal interview airs on Sunday.

Friday’s “Washington Journal” on CSPAN features Amy and David Goodman of Democracy Now and Bob McManus, the editorial page editor of the New York Post.
