Cagle Cartoons Adds Two New Columnists to Roster

By: E&P Staff

Cagle Cartoons syndicate has added two new weekly Op-Ed columnists to its subscription-based package service.

Peter Funt?s columns on issues of the day are the same pointed observations that made ?Candid Camera? so popular. He has produced and hosted TV specials on the Arts & Entertainment and Lifetime cable networks, and spent five years as an editor and reporter with ABC News in New York. Additionally, he has written exclusives for The Boston Globe and the The Herald in Monterey, Calif.

At times an anti-social commentator, at other times a comedian, Tina Dupuy is an award-winning writer and a freelance investigative journalist. She serves as the editor of Mediabisto?s FishbowlLA, and has written for the Los Angeles Daily News, Los Angeles Times, Newsday and other newspapers.

These additions bring the number of Cagle?s content offerings to seven weekly columnists, several occasional expert columnists, and more than 50 American and world editorial cartoonists.

Cagle Cartoons, which also offers 25 iPhone apps and distributes the cartoons of about 50 editorial cartoonists and columnists to over 800 newspapers, just celebrated its 10th anniversary.
