California Man Pleads Guilty to Making Threats Against Boston Globe Employees

A California man pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to charges that he threatened to kill employees of the Globe while the news organization led a national editorial campaign against President Trump’s attacks on journalism.

Robert D. Chain, 68, is facing sentencing Sept. 23. He and his attorney declined to speak when they left US District Court in Boston.
