Eight New Partners Opt For Captive Audience
Captivate Network Inc. of Westford, Mass., has signed contracts with eight content providers
to place their content on elevator screens in office buildings and hotels.
Captivate has closed deals with The New York Times on the Web, boston.com, bostonherald.com, chicagotribune.com, CitySearch.com, New England Sports Network, NewsPage/Individual.com, and
TrafficStation. The company had already partnered with Reuters, Accuweather, and SmarTraveler.
Captivate provides consumer exposure to these content providers by placing their Web addresses
alongside news and information content displayed on elevator screens. The company places
high-resolution flat panel silent screens in elevators across the U.S. This year screens will
appear in New York City, Chicago, Stamford, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston,
Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.
