As usual, David Carr of The New York Times provided thousands of words of hit-and-run coverage of the Golden Globes late Monday and early Tuesday at his Carpetbagger blog. Overall he was happy that they really spread the awards around.

But one of his highlights was a simple one-sentence comment on the aftermath of the “Borat” creator winning an award for best actor: “And it warmed the cockles of the Bagger?s heart to watch Sacha Baron Cohen fighting through the questions in the press room, a few of them coming from people who scan as dangerously close to his parody of a foreign journalist.”
