A newspaper carrier alerted police to several instances of vehicle vandalism the morning of Aug. 2, according to a report by Wapakoneta (Ohio) Daily News Assistant Managing Editor Karen Campbell.

Police responded to six reports of slashed tires, with a window also smashed on one the vehicle.

“They all happened at roughly the same time and we expect we are dealing with the same suspect,” Police Chief Russ Hunlock told the paper.

Carrier John Dell called police at 2:10 a.m. when he noticed his customers’ flat tires.
