The ToonSeum at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is marking National Cartoonists Day and Free Comic Book Day with an event this Saturday.

Among the many guests scheduled to appear are Pittsburgh Tribune-Review editorial cartoonist Randy Bish and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette/United Media editorial cartoonist Rob Rogers, who’s also immediate past president of the Association of America Editorial Cartoonists.

The 11 a.m.-5 p.m. event will include free comic books, free sketches, drawing sessions, a trivia contest, and a tour of the ToonSeum’s exhibit “Inside Peanuts: The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz.”

That exhibit — which runs through May 18 — was organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum of Santa Rosa, Calif.
