Editorial cartoonist Ed Stein will speak tomorrow at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

The college’s Swem Library currently features an “American Political Cartoonists” exhibit — running until January — that includes the work of Stein, Hugh Haynie (a 1950 William and Mary graduate), Herblock, Bill Mauldin, Thomas Nast, Pat Oliphant, “Doonesbury” creator Garry Trudeau, Signe Wilkinson, and Dr. Seuss (yes, he was briefly a political cartoonist).

Stein — whose speaking appearance was mentioned today on DailyCartoonist.com — is with the Denver Rocky Mountain News and United Media. He also does the local “Denver Square” comic for the Rocky Mountain News.
