The Casper (Wyo.) Star-Tribune announced Friday that it has swapped its Internet service-provider (ISP), Trib.com, for the 30,000-circulation weekly Casper Journal.
The deal was forged between the Lee Enterprises-owned Star-Tribune and Wyoming Financial Group and its holding company, Wyoming Employee Resource Capital and Service (WERCS).
In an article in the Star-Tribune, Publisher Nathan Bekke said Casper Journal Publisher Dale Bohren will continue to lead the staff of 13.
“By joining this quality weekly with the state’s premier newspaper, we will provide expanded coverage for readers and even more reach for advertisers,” Bekke said. “Also, Trib.com subscribers will benefit from WERCS ownership and its substantial investment in cutting-edge technology that will lead to enhanced services for subscribers.”
