The Gazette, Cedar Rapids, Iowa has entered into an agreement with Data Sciences Inc., Laurel, Md., to install DSI/WebCirc software, designed for secure, functional Web-browser access to DSI’s Circulation business system.
Features of WebCirc’s subscriber portal include entry of new subscriber starts, review of account history and a recent bill, submission of vacation requests and NIE donations, report delivery issues, and enter payments using various methods, including credit/debit cards, bank drafts and Easy Pay. It also offers retail locator maps to help customers find single-copy outlets.
Features of the carrier/dealer portal include account and draw history review, recent bill display, returns and draw changes submission, and delivery list display/map/print.
DSI also offers business analytics tools for circulation and financial analysis, the DSI/e-solicitor portal that automates tasks associated with orders acquired by solicitors, kiosk, crew, carrier and telephone sales, Pitney Bowes Business Insight postal products, RouteSmart route-optimization software, and VoicePort interactive speech-recognition software.
