Despite China’s ban of Twitter and firewall set up so the country cannot use it, Cheng Jianping was able to get through and retweet the words, “Charge, angry youth,” which got her arrested and last week sentenced to prison, according to the New York Times. Chinese officials said the tweet urged people to attack the Shanghai World Expo and sentenced her to one year hard labor. Read more here
