Cincinnati Enquirer editor Tom Callinan penned a letter of apology today for publishing the names of 12 citizens who served on a jury in the trial of a woman charged with murdering her foster child.

Callinan acknowledged that publishing the names in the paper “was a mistake that could cause harm to [the jurors.] It had the potential to harm the judicial process. There is no doubt that it harmed the trust you have in The Enquirer.”
